The FQ-U316H USB 3.1 Gen2 Fiber Optic Extender is a high-speed USB extension solution designed to transmit USB 3.1 Gen2 and USB 3.0 SuperSpeed signals over long distances using multimode optical fiber.
Supporting data rates up to 10Gbps, the extender can transmit USB signals up to 100 meters over 2-core OM3/OM4 multimode LC fiber. Optical transmission provides excellent resistance to electromagnetic interference and enables stable, low-loss signal transmission in demanding environments.
The system features a USB Type-C male to USB Type-A male connection and consists of a host-side receiver and device-side transmitter. The host side can be powered through a standard USB Type-A port or auxiliary Micro USB power when additional power is required. The device side uses external power and provides power to the connected USB device through the USB Type-C interface.
The FQ-U316H is plug and play and does not require additional driver software, making it suitable for machine vision, industrial video transmission, high-speed data acquisition, remote storage, and professional USB applications.
