Product Overview
The FQ-3GSDI-1V-TR 3G-SDI Fiber Optic Extender is a professional video transmission solution for extending uncompressed 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, and SD-SDI signals over long-distance fiber.
The transmitter features 1 × SDI IN, 1 × SDI LOOP OUT, and 1 × SDI OUT2, allowing the incoming SDI signal to be monitored locally while simultaneously providing an additional SDI output for another video device. The optical signal is transmitted over LC fiber to the receiver for high-quality, real-time video extension.
Using a single-mode LC SFP optical module, the system supports transmission distances of up to 20km. It supports SDI standards including SMPTE 259M, SMPTE 292M, and SMPTE 424M, with resolutions up to 1920 × 1080p @ 60Hz.
The compact metal housing and included mounting bracket make the system suitable for fixed installations, broadcast environments, studios, surveillance systems, OB vans, live events, and professional video production.
