Product Overview
The FQ-SDI-2V1HD1GE-T/R 2-Channel 3G-SDI Fiber Optic Extender is a professional desktop transmission solution designed to extend two independent SDI video signals, one bidirectional serial data channel and one Gigabit Ethernet connection over a single optical fiber.
It supports SD-SDI, HD-SDI and 3G-SDI standards with resolutions up to 1920×1080@60Hz and SDI data rates of 270Mbps, 1.48Gbps and 3Gbps. Two SDI channels are transmitted simultaneously over single-mode single-fiber for distances up to 20km through an LC optical interface.
The extender also supports one bidirectional RS485, RS422 or RS232 data channel with a maximum data rate of 115.2Kbps. RS422 and RS232 support full-duplex communication, while RS485 supports half-duplex operation.
For network connectivity, the unit provides one Gigabit RJ45 Ethernet port, supporting 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet and IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3u and IEEE 802.3z standards. Full-duplex and half-duplex operation are supported.
With a compact 135 × 105 × 27mm desktop design and external 5–12V DC power supply, the FQ-SDI-2V1HD1GE-T/R provides a convenient solution for integrated video, serial data and Ethernet transmission over a single fiber.
