Product Overview
The FQ-V-12G-1V-T/R 12G-SDI Fiber Optic Extender is a professional single-channel, unidirectional SDI fiber transmission solution designed for long-distance transmission of high-bandwidth SDI video signals.
Supporting SD-SDI, HD-SDI, 3G-SDI, 6G-SDI, and 12G-SDI, the extender supports video resolutions up to 3840×2160@60Hz and transmission rates up to 11.88Gbps. It transmits SDI signals over single-mode single-fiber up to 20km through an LC optical interface.
The unit features an SDI loop output, allowing the incoming SDI signal to be simultaneously output to a local SDI device while being transmitted over fiber. This makes it suitable for local monitoring, video distribution, and professional production workflows.
Designed for mobile and field video applications, the FQ-V-12G-1V-T/R features a built-in 970 battery mount for compatible 970-series battery power. The unit also supports 5–12V DC external power through a locking power connector.
The compact housing includes mounting holes for an installation bracket, providing additional flexibility for equipment mounting and field deployment.
