Product Overview
The FQ-DMX512KN-T/R 2-Channel XLR DMX512 Fiber Optic Extender is designed to transmit standard DMX512 lighting control signals over long-distance single-mode fiber. It connects a DMX512 lighting console to remote lighting equipment through a reliable optical fiber link.
The transmitter uses XLR female connectors for DMX512 input, while the receiver uses XLR male connectors for DMX512 output. Fiber optic transmission provides electrical isolation and helps reduce the effects of lightning, surge interference, electromagnetic interference, and other electrical disturbances in demanding environments.
The system supports 2 channels of standard DMX512 data and is designed for point-to-point applications. A fiber optic splitter can also be used to create point-to-multipoint transmission.
