Product Overview
The ZH-U421LM-T/R Leap Motion USB Fiber Optic Extender is a compact long-distance USB transmission solution specially designed for Leap Motion motion-sensing controllers and compatible USB devices.
The extender supports USB 3.0 SuperSpeed transmission up to 5 Gbps and extends USB connections up to 250 meters over single-mode fiber. It also supports multimode fiber transmission up to 50 meters when using compatible OM3 or OM4 fiber.
The ZH-U421LM-T/R supports USB 3.0, USB 2.0, and USB 1.1 devices, providing broader compatibility than USB 3.0-only extenders. It is designed to support Leap Motion controllers and other compatible USB peripherals requiring long-distance connectivity.
The system uses LC optical interfaces and is available in single-mode dual-fiber and single-mode single-fiber configurations. Two receiver configurations are available: a compact external receiver box or a PCI Express receiver card for direct installation in a compatible computer.
With plug-and-play operation and no additional driver software required, the ZH-U421LM-T/R supports Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, full Linux, and UNIX operating systems.
