Product Overview
The ZH-U321-T/R and ZH-U421-T/R USB Fiber Optic Extenders are compact USB 3.0 optical transmission systems designed to extend high-speed USB signals over long distances using single-mode or multimode fiber.
Both models support USB 3.0 SuperSpeed transmission up to 5Gbps and extend USB signals up to 250m over single-mode fiber or 50m over OM3/OM4 multimode fiber. The system uses a USB Type-A interface and LC optical interface for reliable long-distance transmission with strong resistance to electromagnetic interference.
Two receiver configurations are available: a compact receiver box or a PCI Express receiver card, allowing the system to be configured according to different installation requirements.
The main difference between the two models is USB compatibility. ZH-U321-T/R supports USB 3.0 devices only and is not compatible with USB 1.1 or USB 2.0, while ZH-U421-T/R is compatible with USB 3.0, USB 2.0, and USB 1.1 devices.
