Product Overview
The ZH-U324-T/R and ZH-U424-T/R 4-Port USB Fiber Optic Extenders are professional USB extension systems designed to transmit high-speed USB signals over long distances through optical fiber.
Both models provide 4 USB 3.0 ports and support USB 3.0 SuperSpeed transmission with bandwidth up to 5Gbps. The system extends USB signals up to 250m over single-mode fiber or 50m over OM3/OM4 multimode fiber, providing a reliable solution for long-distance USB device connections.
The extender uses a USB Type-A interface and LC optical interface and is available in either single-fiber or dual-fiber configurations. The receiver can be supplied as a compact external receiver box or a PCI Express receiver card, providing flexible installation options.
The main difference between the two models is USB compatibility. ZH-U324-T/R supports USB 3.0 devices only and is not compatible with USB 1.1 or USB 2.0, while ZH-U424-T/R supports USB 3.0, USB 2.0, and USB 1.1 devices.
