Product Overview
The USB 3.1 Gen2 Fiber Optic Extender is a high-speed USB extension solution designed for reliable long-distance transmission of USB 3.1 Gen2 and USB 3.0 SuperSpeed signals over multimode optical fiber.
The system supports data rates up to 10Gbps and extends USB signals up to 100 meters through a 2-core LC-LC OM3/OM4 multimode fiber optic cable. Optical transmission provides excellent resistance to electromagnetic interference, making the extender suitable for industrial, professional AV, machine vision, and other demanding environments.
Two USB Type-A versions are available: Type-A Male to Type-A Female and Type-A Male to Type-A Male. The extender uses an 850nm VCSEL array and micro diffractive optical system for high-speed optical transmission.
The system is plug and play and supports 5V Micro USB auxiliary power when additional power is required.
