Product Overview
The FQ-U214 Series 4-Port USB 2.0 Fiber Optic Extender is designed to extend USB devices over long-distance optical fiber. It supports USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 protocols and provides four remote USB Type-A ports for connecting USB cameras, printers, USB flash drives, scanners, touchscreens, and other USB peripherals.
The system supports High-Speed, Full-Speed, and Low-Speed USB devices and automatically identifies the connected USB device speed. Fiber optic transmission extends the USB connection beyond the normal limits of standard USB cabling while providing strong resistance to electromagnetic interference.
The FQ-U214 series is available with SC, FC, or LC optical interfaces. Each optical interface version supports single-mode dual-fiber, multimode dual-fiber, and single-mode single-fiber configurations, providing flexible options for different fiber infrastructure requirements.
The transmitter provides four USB device ports, with up to 500mA current per USB port. The receiver connects to the host computer through a USB data cable. The system is driver-free and designed for plug-and-play operation with a wide range of operating systems.
