The 4-Channel 12G-SDI Fiber Optic Extender is a professional 19-inch 1U rackmount transmission system designed to simultaneously transmit 4 channels of unidirectional 12G-SDI video, 4 channels of unidirectional balanced XLR audio, and 1 Gigabit Ethernet connection over a single optical fiber.
Supporting SD-SDI, HD-SDI, 3G-SDI, 6G-SDI, and 12G-SDI, the system supports video resolutions up to 3840×2160@60Hz and SDI data rates up to 11.88Gbps.
Using single-mode single-fiber transmission up to 20km through an LC optical interface, the system combines high-bandwidth 4K SDI video, professional balanced audio, and Gigabit Ethernet connectivity into a single fiber link.
The four XLR audio channels use 24-bit/192kHz digital sampling for clean and reliable audio transmission with low background noise and interference.
The integrated Gigabit Ethernet port supports standard 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet protocols and full- or half-duplex operation. The professional 19-inch 1U rackmount design and built-in 220V AC power supply make the system suitable for centralized equipment rack installations.
