The FQ-V-12G-1Vv-T/R Bidirectional 12G-SDI Fiber Optic Extender is a professional broadcast-grade fiber transmission system designed for reliable long-distance transmission of high-bandwidth SDI video signals.

The system provides 1-channel bidirectional 12G-SDI optical transmission with low jitter and transparent signal transmission. It supports SDI data rates from 270Mbps to 11.88Gbps and is compatible with SMPTE ST-2082, ST-2081, SMPTE 424M, SMPTE 344M, SMPTE 292M, SMPTE 259M, and DVB-ASI standards.

Designed specifically for mobile camera and broadcast applications, the unit features front and rear V-Mount plates. The front V-Mount plate can be attached to the rear V-Mount interface of compatible professional cameras, including cameras from Blackmagic Design, Sony, and similar systems. The rear V-Mount plate allows a V-Mount battery to be mounted directly on the extender, providing power to both the extender and connected camera equipment.

Using single-mode single-fiber transmission with LC optical interfaces, the system supports transmission distances up to 20km. Embedded audio and ancillary data are transparently transmitted along with the SDI signal.
