Product Overview

The FQ-SDI-1V1D-T/RL 3G-SDI Fiber Optic Extender is a professional video transmission system designed for long-distance, uncompressed transmission of SD-SDI, HD-SDI, and 3G-SDI signals over optical fiber.

The system supports automatic detection of SD-SDI, HD-SDI, and 3G-SDI signals at data rates from 270Mbit/s to 3Gbit/s, including the 1080P 3G-SDI format. It is compliant with SMPTE 424M, SMPTE 292M, SMPTE 259M, and DVB-ASI standards.

The transmitter provides an SDI loop output for local monitoring or connection to another SDI device while simultaneously transmitting the signal over fiber. The system also provides 1-channel reverse RS485 control data and TALLY, making it suitable for professional broadcast, camera production, remote studio, and control applications.

Using multimode or single-mode optical fiber, the system provides reliable long-distance transmission with no signal loss caused by electrical interference. With the appropriate optical module and fiber configuration, transmission distances can reach up to 20km.

The wide DC 5–18V power input supports flexible installation in professional, mobile, and field environments.
