Product Overview
The DVI-OPT-102-TR DVI Fiber Optic Extender is a compact DVI-D transmission solution designed to extend high-resolution DVI video signals over long distances using two-core optical fiber. The system consists of a transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX), providing reliable point-to-point transmission between a computer and display device.
The extender supports DVI resolutions up to 1920×1200@60Hz and can also support HDMI 1080p@60Hz with embedded audio when used with suitable HDMI-to-DVI adapter cables. It supports both G.652.D single-mode fiber up to 2km and OM2 multimode fiber up to 300m.
The transmitter features EDID reading and storage, allowing it to copy the EDID information from a display device and improve compatibility with different displays. The EDID function is particularly useful for systems where the display has non-standard or specific resolution requirements.
The DVI-OPT-102-TR features a compact aluminum alloy housing and simple plug-and-play installation, making it suitable for computer displays, control rooms, digital signage, industrial displays, conference systems, and other long-distance DVI applications.
