Product Overview
The FQ-MH300-T/R 3G-SDI Fiber Optic Extender is a compact and portable solution for long-distance transmission of SD-SDI, HD-SDI, and 3G-SDI video signals over optical fiber.
Supporting video data rates from 270Mbit/s to 3Gbit/s and resolutions up to 1920 × 1080 @ 60Hz, the extender is compatible with SMPTE 424M, SMPTE 292M, SMPTE 259M, and DVB-ASI signals.
Built-in reclocking (clock recovery) technology regenerates and cleans the SDI signal during transmission, helping reduce jitter and maintain signal integrity for stable long-distance video transmission.
The transmitter also provides an SDI loop output, allowing the original SDI signal to be connected to a local monitor or another SDI device while the signal is simultaneously transmitted over fiber.
Using single-mode single-fiber transmission, the FQ-MH300-T/R supports distances of up to 20km through an LC optical interface. Its compact 64 × 52 × 22mm enclosure makes it easy to install in portable video systems, field production equipment, monitoring systems, and other space-constrained applications.
The unit uses an external DC 5–12V power supply and can also be powered by a compatible power bank, making it suitable for mobile and outdoor applications.
