Product Overview
The FQ-MOD168 RS485/RS422/RS232 Fiber Optic Converter is a professional serial data fiber transmission solution designed for long-distance transmission of RS485, RS422, and RS232 data over optical fiber.
The converter supports 2 channels of RS485 or 1 channel of RS422, with both full-duplex and half-duplex operation, asynchronous point-to-point transmission, and data rates up to 250Kbps. It also provides 1 full-duplex RS232 interface with asynchronous point-to-point transmission at data rates up to 115.2Kbps.
The FQ-MOD168 supports single-mode or multimode fiber, as well as single-fiber or dual-fiber transmission, with SC, FC, or ST optical interfaces. Depending on the selected optical configuration, transmission distances are available from 2km to 20km.
With a compact 95 × 70 × 25mm design, the converter can be powered locally using an external DC 5V/1A power supply or installed in a compatible 14-slot dual-power rack for centralized power distribution.
