Product Overview

The FQ-DMX512-T/R series 2-Channel DMX512 Fiber Optic Extender is designed to transmit standard DMX512 lighting control signals over long-distance fiber optic links. It uses optical fiber as the transmission medium to provide reliable communication between DMX512 lighting consoles and remote lighting equipment.

Fiber optic transmission helps extend transmission distance while reducing the impact of lightning, surge interference, electromagnetic interference, and other electrical disturbances commonly encountered in complex environments.

The system supports 2 independent DMX512 channels and is designed for point-to-point transmission. A fiber optic splitter can also be used to build point-to-multipoint configurations.
