Product Overview
The ZH-U321M-T/R Mini USB 3.0 Fiber Optic Extender is a compact high-speed USB extension solution designed to transmit USB 3.0 SuperSpeed signals over optical fiber.
Supporting USB 3.0 bandwidth up to 5 Gbps, the system extends USB 3.0 connections up to 250 meters over single-mode fiber and up to 50 meters over multimode fiber, providing a practical solution for long-distance USB device connectivity.
The system uses LC optical interfaces and is available with either single-mode dual-fiber or single-mode single-fiber configurations. It can also be configured with a compact receiver box or a PCI Express receiver card, providing flexible installation options for desktop computers and professional systems.
The extender supports self-powered USB 3.0 devices and provides operating power for compatible USB 3.0 devices. It is designed for plug-and-play operation without additional driver software and supports Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, full Linux, and UNIX operating systems.
The ZH-U321M-T/R is specifically designed for USB 3.0 devices and does not support USB 1.1 or USB 2.0 devices.
