Product Overview
The FQ-12G-1V1HD-T/R 12G-SDI Fiber Optic Extender is a professional single-channel, unidirectional 12G-SDI fiber transmission solution with integrated bidirectional serial data transmission.
It supports SD-SDI, HD-SDI, 3G-SDI, 6G-SDI, and 12G-SDI video standards with resolutions up to 3840×2160@60Hz. SDI video and RS485/RS422/RS232 control data can be transmitted simultaneously over a single-mode single-fiber connection up to 20km through an LC optical interface.
The SDI interface provides an SDI loop out, allowing the incoming video signal to be simultaneously output to a local SDI device while being transmitted over fiber.
The serial data interface supports RS485, RS422, and RS232, with a maximum bus rate of 115.2Kbps. RS422 and RS232 support full-duplex operation, while RS485 supports half-duplex operation.
With a compact 135 × 105 × 27mm housing and external 5–12V DC power, the extender is suitable for professional video production, broadcasting, live events, camera control, and other applications requiring simultaneous SDI video and serial data transmission.
