Product Overview
The FQ-E600V 4K EFP Broadcast Camera Fiber System is a professional long-distance fiber transmission solution designed for Electronic Field Production (EFP), Outside Broadcast (OB), studio production, sports broadcasting, and live events.
The system consists of a Camera Fiber Adapter and a CCU Fiber Base Station, providing a complete camera-to-control-room transmission link. It is designed for professional broadcast cameras from Sony, Panasonic, Ikegami, and JVC and integrates multiple camera signals over a single 2-core hybrid fiber cable.
The FQ-E600V supports 12G-SDI camera video, 12G-SDI return video, TALLY, bidirectional intercom, camera remote control, Genlock, Timecode, 10/100Mbps Ethernet, PGM/IFB, SDI de-embedded audio, and other broadcast signals over a single fiber connection.
With a transmission distance of 10km+, the system simplifies long-distance EFP camera deployment while reducing cable complexity between the camera position and the production control room.
One-Cable Broadcast Transmission
A single 2-core hybrid fiber cable can carry multiple signals between the camera side and CCU/control-room side, including:
- 12G-SDI camera video
- 12G-SDI return video
- TALLY
- Bidirectional broadcast intercom
- Camera remote control
- Genlock / synchronization
- Timecode
- 10/100Mbps Ethernet
- PGM / IFB
- SDI de-embedded audio
- Camera power with supported hybrid-fiber configurations

Camera Remote Control
The FQ-E600V supports remote camera control for compatible broadcast camera systems.
For Sony cameras, the system can connect to compatible camera remote control units such as RM-B150, RM-B170, and RM-B750.
For Panasonic cameras, compatible remote control units include AJ-RC10G and AG-EC4G.
This allows camera operators and production crews to manage supported camera functions remotely from the control-room side.
Intercom and Communication
The system provides bidirectional broadcast intercom between the camera position and production control room.
The camera-side interface can connect to professional 4-pin or 5-pin XLR intercom headsets, while the CCU/base-station side can interface with compatible intercom systems such as Clear-Com and Datavideo systems.
PGM and IFB signals can also be integrated into the production communication workflow.
Camera Power Options
Two camera-side power configurations are available.
Battery Power
The Camera Fiber Adapter can be mounted underneath the broadcast camera using a camera mounting plate. A battery can be installed on the rear of the adapter to provide power to both the camera and fiber adapter.
V-Mount or A-Type battery plates can be selected according to the camera and battery configuration.
Hybrid Fiber Remote Power
The system can also be configured with an optional optical/electrical hybrid connector for remote camera power over a hybrid fiber cable.
The self-locking connector design provides a secure and stable connection for professional field production environments.
