The FQ-MOD278 Series RS485/RS422 Fiber Optic Converters are industrial serial communication converters designed to extend RS485 or RS422 data signals over fiber optic cable for reliable long-distance transmission.
The converter supports 2 channels of RS485 or 1 channel of RS422, with both full-duplex and half-duplex RS485/RS422 communication. It supports asynchronous point-to-point transmission with data rates from 0 to 250Kbps.
The series supports multimode dual-fiber, single-mode dual-fiber, and single-mode single-fiber configurations. Optical interfaces are available in SC, FC, and ST, with transmission distances from 2km to 20km depending on the selected configuration.
The compact 95 × 70 × 25mm enclosure makes the FQ-MOD278 suitable for industrial automation, control systems, remote data acquisition, and long-distance serial communication.
