Product Overview

The FQ-KN4D-T/R 4-Channel XLR DMX512 Fiber Optic Extender is designed to transmit standard DMX512 lighting control signals over long-distance single-mode fiber. It provides a reliable optical connection between DMX512 lighting consoles and remote lighting equipment.

The system supports 4 independent DMX512 channels and uses fiber optic transmission to extend communication distance while providing electrical isolation from lightning, surge interference, electromagnetic interference, and other electrical disturbances.

The transmitter connects to the DMX512 control system through XLR female connectors, while the receiver provides XLR male connectors for connection to lighting equipment. The system supports point-to-point transmission and can also be used with an optical splitter for point-to-multipoint applications.
