Product Overview
The DVI-OPT-104-T/R DVI Fiber Optic Extender is designed to extend DVI digital video signals over long distances using 4-core OM2 multimode fiber. It transmits RGB video signals and data clock signals through four LC optical fibers, supporting resolutions up to 1920×1200@60Hz with a transmission distance of up to 500 meters.
The extender supports EDID read and storage, allowing the transmitter to read and store the EDID information of a connected display. This helps improve compatibility with different display resolutions and provides a convenient solution for DVI digital video transmission.
The DVI-OPT-104-T/R also supports HDMI 1080p@60Hz with embedded audio when used with an HDMI male-to-DVI female adapter cable. HDCP-protected signals are not supported.
