The 2-Channel Bidirectional 12G-SDI Fiber Optic Extender is a professional 19-inch 1U rackmount transmission system designed to simultaneously extend 2 channels of bidirectional 12G-SDI video, 2 channels of bidirectional balanced XLR audio, and 1 Gigabit Ethernet connection over a single optical fiber.
Supporting SD-SDI, HD-SDI, 3G-SDI, 6G-SDI, and 12G-SDI, the system supports video resolutions up to 3840×2160@60Hz and SDI data rates up to 11.88Gbps.
The system uses single-mode single-fiber transmission up to 20km through an LC optical interface. Both SDI video and XLR audio can be transmitted bidirectionally, while the integrated Gigabit Ethernet port provides network connectivity over the same fiber link.
The two balanced XLR audio channels use 24-bit/192kHz digital sampling, providing clean audio transmission with low noise and interference.
Designed for professional broadcast and AV installations, the 19-inch 1U rackmount housing provides centralized installation and the built-in 220V AC power supply simplifies deployment in equipment racks.
