Product Overview
The FQ-IES168 Industrial RS485/RS422/RS232 Fiber Optic Converter is an industrial-grade serial data transmission solution designed for long-distance communication in automation, control, and industrial networking applications.
The converter supports 2 channels of RS485 or 1 channel of RS422, with full-duplex and half-duplex operation, asynchronous point-to-point transmission, and data rates up to 120Kbps. It also provides 2 channels of full-duplex RS232 for connecting multiple serial devices.
The FQ-IES168 supports single-mode or multimode fiber, as well as single-fiber or dual-fiber transmission, with SC, FC, or ST optical interfaces. Available configurations provide transmission distances from 2km to 20km.
Designed for industrial installations, the converter features a compact DIN-rail mountable enclosure, a 9–36V DC power input, and a rugged 125 × 100 × 35mm housing. RS485, RS422, and RS232 interfaces are provided through Phoenix terminal blocks and DB9 connectors.
